Sharing

The Sharing page is the place to grab every public link, embed code, and QR code your studio uses to bring clients in. It is organized into three accordion sections: Appointment Requests, Portfolio, and Check-In Forms. New in v4.2 on web.

Before v4.2 on web, these controls were spread across three separate settings pages: Inbox, Portfolio, and Check-In. The unified Sharing page combines all of them into one screen so you can copy a link, grab an embed code, or download a QR without hunting around the menu.

On mobile, the same share-link, embed-code, and QR-code controls exist, but they live in three separate settings screens (Inbox, Portfolio, Check-In) instead of a single accordion page. The unified Sharing page is a web-only consolidation. The mobile screens have all the same functionality, just organized the way they were on web before v4.2.

Where to Find It

Go to Settings > Sharing. The page opens with the Appointment Requests accordion expanded by default. Click any other section header to expand or collapse it.

If you have old bookmarks pointing at /settings/inbox, /settings/portfolio, or /settings/checkin, they still work. Each one redirects to the matching accordion on the new Sharing page automatically.

The Three Sections

Each accordion handles one type of public-facing form. Same controls in each: a public link with copy and preview, an embed code for your website, and (in the Check-In Forms section) a QR code.

SectionWhat It Shares
Appointment RequestsPublic form clients use to request an appointment. Submissions land in your Inbox
PortfolioPublic portfolio page showing every artist in your studio
Check-In FormsWalk-in check-in form, plus the QR code for in-studio display

Appointment Requests

Share a link so prospective clients can request an appointment. Requests land in your Inbox for review before they become real appointments. Nothing is auto-booked.

What you get in this section:

  • Public link: A unique URL for your studio’s appointment request form. Copy or preview it
  • Embed code: An iframe snippet you can paste into your own website. Embedded forms render without your studio header for a clean fit
  • View All Requests: A shortcut button that jumps straight to your Inbox

For full details on processing requests, status tabs, and converting requests into appointments, see the Booking Requests guide.

Portfolio

Share a public portfolio so clients can browse your studio’s work before they book. Each artist on your team gets their own page off this URL.

What you get in this section:

  • Public link: A unique portfolio URL for your studio. Copy or preview it
  • Embed code: An iframe snippet for embedding the portfolio on your own website

For full details on uploading work, organizing artist pages, and customizing your portfolio, see the Portfolio guide.

Check-In Forms

Let walk-in clients fill out their intake form before they ever reach the front counter. Share the link, embed it on your site, or print a QR code for in-studio display.

What you get in this section:

  • Walk-In Check-In Link: A unique URL for your studio. Anyone with the link can complete an intake form and join your queue
  • Embed code: An iframe snippet that renders the check-in form on your website without the studio header
  • QR Code: A scannable code generated from your walk-in link, with download and print options
  • Appointment Check-In Links: A reminder that appointment-specific links are handled separately, in the Message Editor via the {APPOINTMENT_CHECKIN_URL} variable

For full details on the walk-in flow, appointment-specific check-in links, and what clients see when they check in, see the Check-In Links guide.

Embed Code Behavior

Every embed code on this page includes a special ?embed=1 parameter on the URL. When a client opens the embedded form, the studio header, logo, and title are hidden so the form blends cleanly into your own website’s design. The form itself works exactly the same as the standalone version, it just looks like part of your site.

To use an embed code:

  1. Click Copy next to the embed code on the relevant accordion
  2. Paste the snippet into your website’s HTML where you want the form to appear
  3. Save and publish your page
  4. Test it by submitting a real entry to confirm it lands in the right place

Some hosted website builders restrict iframes. If your platform blocks them, link out to the public URL instead.

QR Code Highlights

The QR code in the Check-In Forms section is the headline addition in v4.2. Print it once, hang it at your front counter, and clients scan to check themselves in.

  • Download PNG: Saves a high-resolution 1024 by 1024 PNG file named after your studio. Use it for posters, signs, business cards, or anywhere you need a clean image
  • Print: Opens a print-friendly window with your studio name, “Scan to check in” instructions, and the QR code centered on the page
  • Auto-updating: The QR code is generated from your walk-in URL, so the link behind it does not change. Print once, hang forever

For the full QR code walkthrough, troubleshooting, and tips on placement, see the Check-In Links guide.

  6. Use your browser’s print dialog to send it to your printer
  7. Tape or frame the printout where clients can see it as they walk in

Embedding Any Form on Your Website

Troubleshooting

Old bookmarks redirect, but I want the new URL

  • The new URL is /settings/sharing
  • Update your bookmark to point there directly. The old /settings/inbox, /settings/portfolio, and /settings/checkin redirects will keep working as a fallback

Embed code not displaying on my website

  • Verify the entire iframe snippet was pasted (it should start with <iframe and end with </iframe>)
  • Confirm your website builder allows iframes (some hosted platforms restrict them)
  • Test the embed URL directly in a browser to confirm it loads on its own
  • Check your website’s content security policy if you have one configured

Embedded form still shows the studio header

  • Confirm the embed code includes ?embed=1 at the end of the iframe src URL
  • Re-copy the embed code from this page, it always includes the parameter in v4.2
  • Clear your browser cache if you have an older version of the embed code in place

Link Preview button doesn’t open

  • Allow popups in your browser, the preview opens in a new tab
  • Try right-clicking the link and opening it manually
  • Confirm your studio profile is set up. Public links require a Studio ID

QR code issues

  • For QR-specific troubleshooting (download not working, print window blank, scanned code not opening the form), see the QR section in the Check-In Links guide

Copy button not working

  • Check browser clipboard permissions
  • Manually select the URL or embed code and copy with Ctrl+C or Cmd+C
  • Try a different browser

Best Practices

  1. Bookmark /settings/sharing directly. One bookmark, three forms, no clicking around
  2. Print one QR code and hang it forever. The link behind it is stable, so you don’t need to reprint unless your signage changes
  3. Embed forms over linking out where you can. Embedded forms keep clients on your site and convert better than redirects
  4. Test every link the first time you publish it. Use Preview on each link the first time you set them up to confirm everything works end to end
  5. Keep your studio profile current. Your studio name, phone, and email show up on the public-facing forms and on error pages, so keep them up to date in Settings
  • Booking Requests: Processing requests in the Inbox, status tabs, and converting requests to appointments
  • Portfolio: Uploading work, organizing artist pages, and managing the public portfolio
  • Check-In Links: Walk-in flow, appointment check-in URLs, and full QR code details
  • Settings: Studio Profile, Message Editor, and other settings pages
