What is Tattoo Studio Pro?
One system for running your tattoo or piercing studio. Bookings, payments, digital consent forms, client profiles, SMS reminders, reports, and point of sale. Built specifically for tattoo studios, not adapted from generic business software.
How do I sign up?
Tap “Start Free Trial” on our website. You'll have a working account in a few minutes. The trial is 30 days, and you don't need a credit card to sign up on the web.
Is a credit card required for the free trial?
Not on the web. You can start your 30-day trial at app.tattoostudiopro.com without entering any payment info. If you sign up through the iOS or Android app, Apple and Google require a credit card. That's their policy, not ours.
Do I need to use all the features at once?
No. Start with what matters most to you. Booking, forms, whatever. Add more as you go. Every feature is included on every plan, so there's nothing to unlock.
Features and how they work.
Can I customize the app for my studio?
Yes. Custom consent forms, booking settings, services, products, tax rates, and more. Set it up to match how your studio actually works.
How does booking work?
Calendar view by day or month, filtered by artist. Collect deposits at booking through Stripe. SMS reminders go out automatically to reduce no-shows. Unlimited texts, no per-message charge.
What is the Studio Queue?
Your studio's daily operations hub. Check clients in, track form completion, manage quick sales, and process payments. It's where your team lives during the workday.
What about SMS reminders? Is there a per-text charge?
No. SMS reminders are unlimited on every plan. Send as many as you need. There is no per-text fee.
Can I message clients through the app?
Yes. Tattoo Studio Pro includes built-in messaging so you can communicate with clients directly through the app. No need for a separate texting service.
What are check-in links?
A link you can send to clients before their appointment. They fill out consent forms and check in digitally before they arrive, so your studio is ready when they walk in.
Can I manage retail products?
Yes. Add aftercare, merchandise, or any product. Organize by category and track sales through reports.
What reports are available?
Total sales, artist commissions, retail sales, taxes, tips, deposits, and revenue analytics. View trends with graphs or export as CSV for your bookkeeper. These are tattoo industry-specific reports, not generic dashboards.

How much does it cost?
Plans start at $29/month for a solo artist. Every plan includes every feature. The only difference between plans is how many staff accounts you need. See all plans on our pricing page.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes. Pay annually and save 30%. That's like getting 4 months free. For example, the Solo plan drops from $29/month to $19.92/month when you pay yearly.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. One price, all features. SMS reminders are unlimited. No per-text charges, no feature gates, no surprise add-ons.
Do Manager and Health Official accounts cost extra?
No. Every plan includes 1 Manager account and 1 Health Official account for free. These don't count toward your staff limit.
Staff and accounts.
How are staff accounts managed?
Each staff member gets their own login, sent via email invitation. You assign roles (Owner/Manager, Artist, Staff, or Health Official) to control what they can access.
What if I need more staff accounts?
Upgrade to the next plan. Plans go from Solo (1 staff) up to Legion (25 staff). Need more than 25? Our Empire plan offers custom pricing for larger teams and multi-location studios.
Can staff log in on their own devices?
Yes. Staff can use shared studio tablets or their own phones and devices. Works on iOS, Android, Mac, and web browsers.
Payments and processing.
How do payments work?
Payments run through Stripe. Accept credit cards, debit cards, and mobile wallets. Collect deposits at booking and process payments at checkout. Everything is tracked in your reports.
Can I track taxes and tips?
Yes. Taxes and tips are calculated and included in your reports automatically.
Are payments secure?
Yes. Stripe handles all payment processing. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant.

What are Client Profiles?
A record for each client with their contact info, appointment history, signed consent forms, and preferences. Everything about a client in one place.
Can I import my existing client list?
Yes. We offer a free client data import for studios switching from another system. We handle the migration for you.

Yes. Switch plans anytime. Add more staff as your team grows. Every plan includes all features, so you're only changing the number of seats.
Do you offer anything for new studios?
Yes. If you recently opened (within 3 months), you can apply for 6 months free. Just email us with proof of your new business.
