The Reports section provides analytics and business insights including revenue, taxes, deposits, commissions, tips, and payouts. Data can be filtered by date range, team member, payment method, and service type.
Accessing Reports
Navigate to Reports from the main menu. Both web and mobile have the same core data; the interface differs slightly.
Report Types
Reports are organized into tabs / views. On web, these are a pill toggle (not page tabs) within the chart section. On mobile, they appear as tabs.

Web: Clicking a pill switches the chart and summary data. The transaction data table below the chart remains the same regardless of which chart is selected.
Mobile (Trends): Automatically switches between week view (ranges under 7 days) and month view (longer periods).
Date Filters
Quick Filters
- Today (current day only)
- This Week (current week)
- This Month (current month)
Custom Date Range
- Click the date picker (or “Range” button on mobile)
- Select start and end dates
- Reports update automatically
- Clear dates to remove the filter
Reset
The Reset button (available on both web and mobile, in the action bar next to Filters) clears all active filters and date ranges, returning to show all transactions.
Advanced Filters
Click the Filters button to open advanced filter options:
- Artists/Staff, filter by specific team members
- Payment Methods, filter by payment type (cash, card, etc.)
- Services, filter by service type
- Products, filter by product sales
Active filters are shown as badges. Click “Clear” to remove all filters.
Transaction Table
The data table shows individual transactions with:
- Date
- Client name
- Amount
- Payment method
- Artist
Web: Sortable columns, searchable, paginated, exportable to CSV.
Mobile: Tap any transaction row to expand and see detailed service breakdowns. Edit and Client Profile buttons are available on expanded rows.
Export to CSV
Web:
- Apply desired filters and date range
- Click “Export” or “Download CSV”
- File downloads to your computer
- Open in Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
Mobile:
- Tap the Export button in the report action bar
- Downloads filtered data as CSV
Payment Method Column (new in v4.2, web only)
Web CSV exports now include a Payment Method column for every transaction (cash, card, Venmo, CashApp, and anything else you have enabled). That means you can group, filter, or reconcile by payment type right inside Excel, Google Sheets, or your accounting tool without having to cross-reference anything else.
Useful for:
- Reconciling Stripe card totals against your bank deposits
- Pulling cash-only totals for end-of-day drawer counts
- Splitting revenue by processor for bookkeeping
Understanding Each Report
Sales
Tracks service revenue. Use to:
- Identify top-performing services
- Compare team member revenue contributions
- Analyze daily/weekly/monthly sales patterns
Taxes
Tracks tax collection. Use to:
- Prepare tax filings
- Verify tax rates are applied correctly
- Pull tax data for specific periods
Deposits
Tracks advance payments. Use to:
- Monitor deposit collection
- Reconcile deposits against completed services
- Find clients with outstanding deposits
Trends
Shows performance over time. Use to:
- Identify growth patterns
- Spot slow and busy periods
- Compare time periods
Commissions
Shows commission earnings per team member. Use to:
- Calculate payroll
- Review commission rates
- Export for payroll processing
Tips
Tracks tips per artist. Use to:
- Distribute tips to team members
- Track gratuity trends
Payouts
Comprehensive team compensation (commissions + tips + salary). Use to:
- Prepare team member payments
- Reconcile total payout amounts
Troubleshooting
Reports not loading / blank
- Check internet connection
- Try selecting a different date range
- Clear all filters
- Refresh the page
- Verify you have transactions in the selected period
Numbers don’t match expectations
- Verify the date range is correct
- Check active filters (a filter may be excluding data)
- Compare with individual transaction records
- Contact support if a discrepancy persists
Export not working / file is empty
- Verify there is data in the current view
- Check that filters aren’t excluding everything
- Try a different date range
- Check browser download settings
Charts not displaying
- Verify you have transaction data for the selected period
- Filters may be too restrictive
- Try a different date range
- Refresh the page
